  an important fair is prepared at Somma Vesuviana around Santa Maria del Pozzo

• I° Saturday after Easter
  at Somma Vesuviana, procession of the "Sabato dei Fuochi", which reaches the Mt. Somma's top

APRIL

• 6 - Livestock and goods fair
  at Somma Vesuviana , one of the most flourishing activity in the vesuvian area

• 29 - Mountain Feast
  at Somma Vesuviana, until the 3th May, celebrated in honour of "Madonna del Castello" and of Mt. Somma and called also "Devotion Feast". Of probable pagan origin, it starts with the "Sabato dei Fuochi" (with fire-works on the Mt. Somma sides and around the Sanctuary). Then, the manifestation winds in several meeting occasions with processions from others vesuvian town, accompanied by artistic groups made up of dancers, players and chorister, called "paranze".
   

MAY

  the old beautiful and exciting feast of the "Three Cross" at S.Maria a Castello and Somma Vesuviana

  at Ottaviano, San Michele Arcangelo' Day with angel flight in Piazza Annunziata.

  at Pompei, Madonna del Rosario's Day, which draws pilgrims from each place of Campania and Italy.

  in Torre del Greco, the Feast of the Four Altars, with gigantic baroque sets elevated in the town streets.
   

JUNE

• During the month
  the Apricot Feast at Boscotrecase, Sant'Anastasia , Somma Vesuviana with the oeno-gastronomical manifestation Vesuvius Greedy.

• 27 - Feast of the Four Altars
  in Torre del Greco, which celebrates the four arts: painting, sculpture, architecture and music

• 27 - Meeting of the Craftmanship Herculanese
  in Ercolano

  at San Sebastiano al Vesuvio

  traditional feast at Somma Vesuviana, at quadriennal cadence, with traditional oil lanterns placed on wood structuresjealously preserved for ages.

• During the month - Festival of the new wine
  at Trecase.

• 12 - Feast of the Mary's Name
  at Terzigno

• 12 - Feast of the Mary's Coronation
  at Sant'Anastasia, with the bell tower fire at the Madonna dell'Arco Sanctuary

• 19 - St. Gennaro Fair
  celebrated in Ercolano, Somma Vesuviana and Torre del Greco
   

OCTOBER

• Eno-gastronomical Survey
  at Boscotrecase

• Wine Feast
  at Boscotrecase, with tasting of local products, manifestations about the process concerning the wine bottling in the last years.
   

NOVEMBER

• Wine Festival
  at Terzigno

DECEMBER

• 8 - Immaculate Conception Feast
  at Terzigno and Torre del Greco with procession

• 24 - Performance of the Living Crib
  at Sant'Anastasia, Pollena Trocchia and Somma Vesuviana
